Farnborough ex colts in Semi Finals of the Under 20's National Championship

Hampshire U20's have improved on their Quarter Final place of the 2007 season by beating a strong Middlesex side 26-14, to qualify as the London & South East representatives for the semi-finals of the National Under 20 Championship.

Three penalty goals by fly half Ben Rubio had Hampshire 9-7 up at half-time. Hampshire fell behind 14-9 but pushed on to win in the final quarter with tries by No 8 Liam Perkins and second row Rob Goode, both converted by Rubio who also added a fourth penalty with seven minutes remaining.

The squad included Ex-Farnborough Colts Ollie Watts and Dan Mays, pictured here. The National Under 20 Championship final is at Twickenham Stadium, Saturday May 10th, 2008.
